- India’s indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) TEJAS has reached a milestone of 25 years since its first flight on January 4, 2001. This event marked a key moment in India’s defence aviation, paving the way for the development of self-reliant fighter aircraft. Today, TEJAS stands as a symbol of India’s technological advancements in aerospace engineering.
- India’s maritime strength is growing with the induction of the Arihant-class nuclear-powered submarines. The fourth submarine, S4, is expected to be commissioned as INS Arisudan, meaning “destroyer of enemies,” by 2027. The third submarine, INS Aridhaman, is nearing induction after extensive sea trials.
