Eligibility Criteria for OICL Administrative Officer
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria as of 30.11.2025:
- Educational Qualification
- For Generalist Stream:
- Must possess a Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- Minimum Marks: 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
- For Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officers:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level.
- Minimum Marks: 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
- Age Limit (As on 30.11.2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD).
Selected candidates will join as Administrative Officer (Scale-I). The compensation package is very attractive.
- Basic Pay: ₹ 50,925/- in the scale of ₹50,925 – 96,765.
- Gross Salary: Approximately ₹ 85,000/- per month in Metropolitan Centers.
- Perks: Pension (NPS), Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, and Leased Accommodation (as per norms).
Selection Process Explained
The selection procedure consists of three phases:
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online)
- Objective Test (100 Marks).
- Sections: English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude.
- Note: This is qualifying in nature.
- Phase-II: Main Examination (Online)
- Objective Test (200 Marks): Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quant, Computer Knowledge.
- Descriptive Test (30 Marks): Essay and Précis writing (English).
- Note: For Hindi Officers, the pattern includes Professional Knowledge.
- Phase-III: Interview
