Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Government Employees of Himachal Pradesh.
- Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 Examination from a recognized Board/University.
- OR Matriculation with a one/two-year ITI Diploma/Certificate in IT or ITES.
- OR Three-year Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/IT from a Polytechnic.
- Skill Requirement: Computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
- Regional Requirement: Must have passed Matric and 10+2 from an institution within Himachal Pradesh (not applicable to Bonafide Himachalis).
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a two-stage process:
- Written Screening Test (120 Marks): A 1.5-hour objective test consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions.
- Syllabus includes: 10+2 level subjects, Computer Science/IT, General Knowledge (including HP), Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, and Language (English/Hindi).
- Typing Test: Mandatory and qualifying in nature for those who pass the screening test.
Typing Speed: 30 words per minute (WPM) in English OR 25 WPM in Hindi on a computer.
