Age Limit

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 45 years for all advertised posts, except for Post Code 26013 (Audiometric Technician – Job Trainee) and Post Code 26011 (Speech Therapist – Job Trainee) where the age limit is 18–38 years. Age is reckoned as on 01.01.2026. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh and for HP Government employees and Ex-servicemen of HP.

Litho Artist (26014)	10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board. Diploma in Fine Arts (minimum 3 years) from an institution recognised by HP Government. Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens. The benefit of reservation is admissible only to bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates of reserved categories from other states shall be treated as General (UR) category candidates.
Selection Process for HPRCA Various Posts 2026
The selection for HPRCA Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following process:

Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: Objective type test of 120 marks with duration of 1½ hours (one and a half hours). Each question carries 1 mark.

Important Instructions for HPRCA Recruitment 2026

Candidates must register on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal before filling the ORA (Online Recruitment Application).
The online application can be filled from 10.03.2026 (10:00 AM) to 04.04.2026 till 11:59 PM, after which the website link will be disabled.
Eligibility of all candidates in respect of Essential Qualifications and Experience shall be determined as on the prescribed closing date i.e. 04/04/2026.
The benefit of reservation is admissible only to bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh. Candidates of reserved categories from other states will be treated as General (UR) category.
OBC category certificate validity is one year or as prescribed by the HP Government, and must be valid on the last date of ORA submission as well as on the date of document verification.
EWS category certificate validity is one year from the date of its issuance and must be valid throughout the selection process.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC of Himachal Pradesh must possess caste certificates on parental basis. The SC of HP/ST of HP/OBC of HP certificates must be on parental basis.
Candidates currently in regular Government service must submit a declaration that they have informed their Head of Office/Department about their application.
The candidate must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh to be eligible for appointment (not applicable to Bonafide Himachalis).
A correction window shall be opened for seven days, commencing after three days from the closing date, subject to payment of ₹100/- correction fee.
Examination and processing fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Candidates found using unfair means, impersonating, or submitting fabricated documents shall be disqualified and may be debarred from future examinations.
