Essential Qualification
- Scientist, Asst. Professor & Subject Matter Specialist (Posts 1 to 15)
- Masters Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech/MBA) in the relevant subject.
- Must have qualified NET.
- One publication in a NAAS rated journal.
- Scientist/equivalent (Bio-Chemistry)
- Masters Degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant subject.
- Must have qualified NET.
- Subject Matter Specialist (Home Science)
- Masters Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in any Home Science discipline.
- Must have qualified NET.
- Subject Matter Specialist (Vety. & Animal Husbandry Science)
- B.V.Sc degree and M.V.Sc. or equivalent Masters degree.
- Registered with State or Indian Veterinary Council.
- Must have qualified NET.
Note: Candidates registered for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009 may be exempt from NET under certain conditions.
Selection Process
- The selection process will be based on a Score Card system.
- The university has a prescribed score card for these posts.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Himachal Pradesh customs and dialects.
- Selected trainees will have to execute an agreement with the university.
