Eligibility Criteria for UCO Bank SO
Candidates must strictly fulfill the eligibility norms as on 01.01.2026.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Trade Finance Officer (JMGS-I): Graduate + MBA/PG Diploma in Finance/International Business. Experience: Min 1 year in Trade Finance.
- Treasury Officer (MMGS-II): Graduate + MBA/PG Diploma in Finance. Experience: Min 3 years in Treasury.
- Chartered Accountant (JMGS-I): Qualified CA. Experience: Min 1 year.
- Chartered Accountant (MMGS-II): Qualified CA. Experience: Min 3 years.
- IT Officers (Software/Network/AI etc.): B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics OR MCA/M.Sc (CS/IT). Experience: Min 1 year for JMGS-I.
- Data Scientist / Analyst (MMGS-II): Degree in CS/IT/Data Science/Statistics. Experience: Min 3 years.

Salary and Benefits Explained
Selected candidates will receive a handsome remuneration package as per the Industry Level Settlements.
- Pay Scale (JMGS-I): ₹48480 – 2000/7 – 62480 – 2340/2 – 67160 – 2680/7 – 85920.
- Pay Scale (MMGS-II): ₹64820 – 2340/1 – 67160 – 2680/10 – 93960.
- Allowances: In addition to the Basic Pay, officers are eligible for:
- Dearness Allowance (DA): Revised quarterly based on CPI.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): Depending on the place of posting (Metro/Urban/Semi-Urban).
- City Compensatory Allowance (CCA): As applicable.
- Medical Aid: Reimbursement for medical expenses.
- Others: Leased Accommodation (in lieu of HRA), Leave Fare Concession, etc.
Probation and Service Bond
- JMGS-I: Probation Period of 2 Years. Candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve for minimum 2 years or pay ₹2 Lakhs + GST.
- MMGS-II: Probation Period of 1 Year. Candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve for minimum 2 years or pay ₹2 Lakhs + GST.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a multi-stage process to ensure merit.
- Online Written Examination: The bank may conduct an online written test comprising of Professional Knowledge and Aptitude.
- Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview based on the written test or directly based on applications (screening).
- Final Merit: The final selection list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Written Test and/or Interview.
